Abhyangam - application of medicated oil on body and doing mild massage. This is done in roughness of skin, rheumatic problems of aged, and in arthritis.

Pizhichil- pouring of warm medicated oil on body for a specified time. This is done in Arthritis, inflammations, and rheumatic problems.

Navarakkizhi/ Navaralepam- special type rice called 'Navara' is processed with herbal decoction and milk and applied on body. This is done in neuromuscular problems, osteo arthritis, weakness of muscles (to tone up) and other degenerative ailments.

Kizhi- Poultice is made with herbs, grains etc and applied to certain parts or to the whole body. This is done in muscular pains and inflammations, sprains and rheumatic problems.

Dhara - Continuous pouring of medicated oils, decoction or mediated buttermilk on head (Shirodhara) or particular parts of body (Pradesikadhara). Shirodhara is done in neurological problems and Chronic Skin diseases and Pradesikadhara is done in pain and or inflammation of particular areas.

Shirovasthi- A leather cap is fixed on the head medicated oil is filled in it and kept for a specified time. This is done in neurological problems, Bell's palsy etc.

Vasti - is a panchakarma (elimination) therapy by which an herbal compound is injected through the anal pathway. This eliminates the impurities and free radicals from the body and eases the air circulation in the body and the physiological functions of the body will be regulated. This is the most important elimination therapy. This is done in arthritis, rheumatic ailments, skin diseases, menstrual problems, spinal problems etc.

Vamanam - Therapy by which impurities are eliminated by inducing vomiting by herbal medicines. This is mostly performed in the ailments like Asthma, allergies, skin diseases and other ailments manifested by the vitiation of 'Kapha'.

Virechanam- this therapy is inducing purging and is done in 'pitha' vitiated ailments like skin diseases and other impurity conditions of blood.

Nasyam - is nasal inhalation of medicines which has got good effects in almost all ailments above the neck and the diseases like paralysis, facial palsy severe head aches and other neurological and psychiatric diseases. The modern studies reveal that the nasal mucosa absorbs medicines faster than any other part of the body. This fact was known to the ancient sages who propagated this science and that is why 'Nasya' is indicated in very serious ailments like unconscious and comma conditions.

Rakthamoksha- is the elimination of vitiated blood from local parts of body by different methods. This is commonly done in skin diseases.
